Pinterest, Dublin
American image-sharing platform Pinterest, opened the doors to a new office on Dawson Street in Dublin 2, home to its EMEA headquarters. Designed around the concept of ‘a journey through Ireland’, the office reflects the country’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage inspiring collaboration and creativity among employees.
Each room within the office transports staff to a different facet of Ireland. From a cozy Celtic forest-themed workspace, ‘The Long Hall’ – a peaceful corner inspired by Trinity Library to their very own Pub.
The Celtic Forest brings the essence of an ancient woodland into the modern office, blending natural elements with weather sounds that mirror the conditions outside. This immersive space offers employees a unique environment to work, focus, and collaborate. Enhancing this atmosphere is the Heracleum III from Moooi, a delicate, airy lamp inspired by the flowering plant of the same name. Its white leaves branch out gracefully from a single stem, forming a strikingly organic yet technical structure that perfectly complements the space.
The Pub (with a snug) has been reimagined to reflect the spirit of Ireland’s Stormy Seas, featuring nautical accents and a moody, storm-inspired color palette. At its heart, a cluster of cozy booths creates an inviting central area, illuminated by the nautically themed Fisherman Pendant by ZERO. This fixture beautifully embodies the essence of maritime aesthetics, weaving together the beauty of simplicity with the rugged charm of the sea.
The project’s lighting was crucial to the overall ambience, with each fixture carefully selected to complement the unique theme of each space. Through our strong relationships with suppliers, we were able to meet the specific lighting needs, enhancing the immersive experience throughout the headquarters.
